One artifact can tell us many things about the culture from which it came. In the activities that follow we will concentrate on three aspects of European daily life. CLICK on KIDS EXPRESSWAY below to find out answers to the following questions:

  • What instruments are they playing?
  • What is chamber music?
  • What is the object made of?
  • What is gilding?
  • What is slip?
