Workbook Project
Art can provide a rich, engaging focus for classroom discussions. These discussions create valuable learning opportunities for students at every grade level. When students are looking carefully at an image, thinking creatively, and sharing ideas, they are participating in one of the most satisfying of all human experiences: intellectual networking. Some surprisingly simple teaching strategies can be used to support active learning through discussion, and art provides a rich, engaging focus for this activity.
