The Consortium was created to raise awareness of the presence of member museums and related institutions and their contributions to Champaign County by promoting museum attendance and support, promoting an understanding of museums as learning environments, and promoting and facilitating an environment of mutually beneficial collaboration between consortium members and related cultural institutions.
