Smelly Friends
Here's a question for you:
Is your sense of smell sensitive enough for you to find your smelly friend? Only your nose knows.
Procedure:
- Fill small containers (film canisters with holes poked in the lids) with strong smelling items. Make sure the item is safe to inhale. Make two canisters for each smell. Mix them up.
- Pass one container to each person. Make sure that each smell has a match.
- Decide on a time limit and have each person search for the person with the same smell match.
- Next, try and identify the source of the smells.
- Make a list and spend some time categorizing the smells by identifying features.
