Topic Title: "Activities Across Cultures: Multiple Sub-Topics"
Abstract: West Leyden students will pursue a variety of inter-disciplinary projects within a historical context. Group topics include: discovery of the elements,organic chemistry, medicinal plants, counting devices, comedy, materials used in art, ancient games, dance, ancient Egyptian religion and rituals, rites of passage, marriage rituals, childbirth/ midwifery, styles of dress, money, Greek architecture, military architecture, battle tactics, the wheel, and flight in a historical perspective.
