Topic Title: "The History of Aviation"

Abstract: Northlake students will research a range of sub-topics related to the History of Aviation. Sub-topics will cover such issues as: women in aviation and the changing role they played; how women were represented in advertising and propaganda; the Tuskegee Airmen; nuclear missiles and the impact of the military on the surrounding community; on-base innovations in fire fighting safety; and the history of Octave Chanute Air force base.
