Topic Title: "Early Illinois Prairie Farm Life"
Abstract: Eastland High School students intend to show a variety of aspects of rural living on the developing prairie as opposed to today's technology. Cross sections from the 1850's, 1880's, 1920's, and the present will be introduced to show the development and advancement of life on the prairie in Northwest Illinois. The initial project will focus on farming practices and medical technology.
