We, the fifth graders, have been creating web pages and trying to solve a problem while studying Ancient Greece. The Elgin Marbles, which are marble sculptures from the Parthenon in Ancient Greece, have been on exhibit at the British Museum for decades. Why are they there? How did they get there? Should they be returned back to Greece? These are all questions that we have been answering and incorporating into web pages. We even have pictures of cast moldings from the Elgin Marbles on our web pages! We will be presenting our plans and web pages on what to do with the Elgin Marbles on Friday, March 7th from 12:30-3:00 p.m. in Mrs. Cuesta's room (303). You are invited to come see our hard work!
