Students will apply the skills and knowledge gained in the acquisition of computer literacy to creating databases and files.
- Given a topic the students will locate, research, and publish information about using tools and gadgats from the pioneer era.
Students will demonstrate competency in using the Internet to locate information and interview experts On-line.
- Given On-line e-mail addresses students will discuss with pioneer experts and enthusiasts topics regarding the use of tools and gadgets related to the project.
- Given Web Pages students will browse and link to further information and addresses pertinent to the project.
Students will compare tool/gadgets of the pioneer days to tools/gadgets of modern times.
- Students will observe the differences between yesterdays tools/gadgets and those of today.
- In discussion students will analyze the improvements in these tools/gadgets to determine the impact upon daily living.
