Technology Goals
- To expose children to various tools of technology.
- To utilize with support: the keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, digital camera, and the flexcam.
- To utilize with support various software: KidPix Studio, Hyper Studio, Student Writing Center, and ClarisWorks.
- To introduce and use the Internet as a resource for inquiry.
Literacy Goals
- To encourage students to develop and use all language skills through the inquiry process.
- To develop and share two different cultural similarities and differences.
- To develop and use basic research strategies.
Geography Goals
- To learn geographical and historical sites, physical features, and natural resources.
- To develop an appreciation for historical connections.
