Students will be able to use higher-order thinking skills such as drawing inferences, generating theories and developing conclusions when they examine museum artifacts and exhibits both at the museum and through technological means.
Students will be introduced to the concepts of iculturei and iculture universalsi.
Through the study of artifacts, in partnership with the museum and other online sources, students will be able to analyze the development of culture and iculture universalsi and track those concepts through early civilizations that are studied throughout the year.
Through the use of video conferencing, e-mail, and the Internet, students will be able to access primary sources as well as other new and valuable resources outside the classroom and then use that information to create a page on the World Wide Web.
Students will be able to use QuickTime software to create panoramas and virtual reality objects which will be used on the web page.
Students will be able to use PageMill software to create a web page.
