Social Science State Goals 2 and 5.

Goal 2.
As a result of their schooling, students will be able to understand and analyze events, trends, personalities, and movements shaping the history of the world, the United States, and Illinois.

Goal 5.
As a result of their schooling, students will be able to apply the skills and knowledge gained in the Social Sciences to decision making in life situations.

Biological and Physical Sciences State Goals 1 and 2.

Goal 1.
As a result of their schooling, students will have a working knowledge of the concepts and the basic vocabulary of biological, physical and environmental sciences and their application to life and work in a contemporary technological society.

Goal 2.
As a result of their schooling, students will have a working knowledge of the social and environmental implications and limitations of technological involvement.
