It can be fun to write your own stories; to use your imagination to bring to life people who never existed or who existed a long time ago. Often when you write, it is difficult to come up with an idea out of thin air. Sometimes it helps to start with an actual object or person or even a place or event in time. This page will show you how you can use one of these things to start your own story. Remember a story doesn't begin with a pencil and paper (or even a keyboard and a computer!) but with an idea.
