Lavinia will never meet the woman who has supplied the silk to the Illinois store where she buys it but because of her, Lavinia and her family will be able to make the 4th of July celebration a special one for Grandmother Alice.   Echoes From Holly Springs tells the story of Private Quentin Marshfield, a Civil War soldier who gets caught unaware by the Confederates and must depend on enslaved African Americans to help him survive.     These books will be available at the Early American Museum.
