 Mapping your Block

Using the data gathered by each student team, create a composite map of your Block.

Review the commonly understood symbols for the Map Legend and use the determined scale for uniformed results.

Each team is responsible for recording and labeling each piece of their section and identifying the areas using the agreed upon vocabulary. ( See Reaching a Consensus).

Students will see the need for a common scale and a common map legend.

Use graphing paper to draw the building, the lot or the entire street.
